Would you like to get paid to play?

Swimming, canoeing, archery, basketball, soccer, the high ropes course, white water rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, and marshmallow launching are all in a days work at Chestnut Ridge. As a summer camp counselor you will have an opportunity to lead and participate in many of these activities with your campers.

Want a job that's never boring?

You never know what will happen at camp. Each day brings new people to meet, new places to explore and new adventures to be had. Tired of the camp activities? Create a new one! Make up new activities, games, and adventures to have with the campers. Teach them a new skill, or learn with them as you try out something new. The sky is the limit with some creativity, imagination, and lots of laughs.

Would you like to meet other Christians your age?

Our summer staff is comprised of amazing Christians from around the world who come to Chestnut Ridge each summer to serve. While living in Christian community we worship, grow, love, and laugh together. Our staff is gifted at creating a vibrant, exciting and interactive worship atmosphere. We are serious about our call to ministry each day, but we also have fun doing it!

Most importantly, as a counselor you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. Through both words and actions you will have the opportunity to be a positive role model in their lives, and help them create memories that will last a lifetime. 2If you're interested in serving with us for Summer '12, please complete and return the 2012 Staff Application. Note that you will need to supply three, completed reference forms (they are included in the application document).
